Alimentos Polar Mexico celebrated its first anniversary and returned to Expo Antad to celebrate its positioning in the 5 main food manufacturing chains in the country.
A year ago, Alimentos Polar Mexico’s first anniversary was announced with an attendance to Expo Antad. Now, with a consolidated operation and presence in the country’s 5 major supermarket chains and 1,712 self-service stores, it returned to the event held every year in Guadalajara, which serves as a showcase for the best of Mexico’s food and beverage industry.
Walmart, Soriana, Chedraui, La Comer and HEB are the distribution chains in which Empresas Polar’s International Business operation in Mexico has been able to consolidate the presence of the P.A.N. portfolio throughout Mexico. In addition to the 5 large retail chains, there is direct distribution to independent supermarkets such as Súper Gutiérrez and Súper Roma, as well as a distribution network for ethnic supermarkets and Latin restaurants.
“Coming back to Expo Antad now with a consolidated presence in the country’s retail channel was a totally different experience from last year, when we were being introduced to the industry. Now, on the contrary, customers who attended the event were looking for us because they already recognize us and know our quality,” said Sergio Alcocer, Commercial Manager of Alimentos Polar Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
In this 2024 edition of Expo Antad, the main protagonists in the imposing two-story stand, branded with the P.A.N. brand, were the Gust. by P.A.N. tequeños, which will be available in Mexican territory. Gust. by P.A.N., which will be available in Mexico in cheese, chocolate and pizza presentations.
“The purpose was to introduce our customers and buyers in the frozen category, purchasing managers and store managers to a high quality ready-to-eat snack to enjoy during their big moments during the day,” added Alcocer.
Additionally, part of the U.S. sales team joined the Mexican team to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the expo and contact potential customers interested in the North American market.
“This year’s Expo Antad was an inspiring experience where together the Alimentos Polar Mexico and U.S. teams worked to further capitalize on the awareness and acceptance of our beloved brands for the thousands of customers who attended from all over the world. We introduced new items and a growing portfolio that will continue to become an even greater international force that we are very proud to share,” commented Joseph Fragoso, North American Commercial Manager of Empresas Polar’s International Business.
