INGREDIENTS

1 cup P.A.N. Sweet Corn Mix

1 cup rice flour

4 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups milk

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Vegetable oil for frying

Powdered sugar for sprinkling

PREPARATION

In a bowl, combine the P.A.N. Sweet Corn Mix, rice flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix well.

In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs and vanilla extract. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix well. Let sit for 4 minutes.

Heat the oil in a pot. Transfer the batter to a narrow funnel, covering the opening at the bottom, a pastry bag or a bottle with a pour spout.

Making a circle beginning in the center and moving outward in a spiral shape, pour the batter slowly into the hot oil until you obtain the desired size. Fry until golden.

Transfer to paper towels to drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
